Social Media Advisor to President Muhammadu Lauretta Onochie said her boss will not release Mazi Nnamdi Kanu as the indigenous people of Biafra, IPOB, are responsible for the deaths of prominent and common Nigerians in the Southeast region.
Lauretta Onochie, a Nigerian educator, civil worker, and preacher, educator, and government worker. Onochie is currently the special assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari.
Onochie accused Nnamdi Kanu of killing numerous Nigerians, including Chike Akunili, the husband of the late Professor Dora Akunili, former director-general of the National Food and Drug Administration.
Onochie’s call was made following a request from civil society, traditional, community, and religious leaders for Kanu’s release from the Department of Public Services, DSS, Detention.
“Nigerians are eagerly awaiting justice. Under President Bukhari, the advocate of due process, the monster will receive a fair trial – a chance he did not give those he ordered to be executed. The families of the murdered are waiting for the fair and simply the end of their nightmares. ” Onochie addressed:
“Ndigbo, with the best of intentions, felt that their leadership let them down by supporting one of them, who was clearly an unhealthy person. They didn’t speak when they should. They still hide their heads in the sand.
“To call for his release is to spit on the graves of Dr. Chike Akunili, Dr. Lawrence Ezenwa, Dr. Ahmed Gulak, the murdered traditional rulers, students, virgins and ordinary Nigerians from the Igbo tribe, who died at the behest of this madman, not forgetting the security personnel they killed.
