Anambra All Progressive Congress (APC) governor nominee Senator Andy Uba has said he is confident in his victory in today’s election.
Senator Uba told journalists after voting at Okwute Primary School, Uga, that with many major politicians siding with the APC, it would be nearly impossible for him to lose the election.
Senator Uba stated, “What do you expect in a situation where people who have a lot of followers in different wards leave their parties in favor of APC? this means that the elections are as good as if we won them. Otherwise, they (the defectors) will be disgraced. ”
Regarding the problems posed by malfunctioning machines of the bimodal voter accreditation system, Uba believes that they will soon be eliminated this is a minor issue that will be fixed soon. I trust the process. It was free; it was fair, ”he said.
However, Senator Uba expressed his satisfaction with voter turnout across the state, despite initial security threats.
